Louis C.K. might not seem like the type of comedian to have a show on one of the major networks, but Vulture is reporting that he and former Seinfeld writer, Spike Feresten, are creating a new half-hour sitcom for CBS. The show will revolve around a group of twentysomethings that are trying to make it in a tough economy. It will also employ the conventional multi-camera system found in almost every sitcom; however, there is no word on whether or not it will use a laugh-track yet.

Louis C.K’s brand of raunchy comedy might seem like an odd fit for a network show, but this could be a way for CBS to try and attract a different segment of the audience to watch. Feresten, who wrote “The Soup Nazi” episode of Seinfeld, is a sitcom veteran, so he should be able to balance out Louis C.K's crude humor with the typical shenanigans found in a network show.
