It's the year of 4G LTE at AT&T, and the company has just announced six all new phones supporting the high-speed data network. In addition to the HTC Titan II, the wireless carrier also announced new handsets from Samsung, Sony and Pantech.
Big blue will be getting three 4G LTE phones from Samsung in the near future, including the much-speculated about "phablet" known as the 5.3-inch Galaxy Note. The Note has a unique stylus input and a 1.5 ghz dual-core processor.
Sammy is also bringing the Galaxy S II Skyrocket LTE, a revamped version of its Galaxy S II also featuring a 1.5 ghz dual-core processor in addition to a 4.65-inch Super AMOLED display, and the eco-conscious Samsung Exhilarate, which will be made from 80 percent recycled materials.
Sony (sans Ericsson) has its own impressive 4G LTE offering in the form of the Xperia Ion, which boasts a 4.6 inch 720p HD screen, 12 megapixel camera and 1.5 ghz dual-core processor.
On the tablet side of the equation, Pantech chips in with the Element, an 8-inch, waterproof 4G tablet that will retail for $299 on contract. It's running Android 3.2 and has 16 GB of on-board storage.
