Art of the Title is a hyper-focused site that dissects and examines title sequences in cinema. Now, for the first time, they've turned their attention to a game: Deus Ex: Human Revolution. It's a worthy choice, as if you've played the game, you'll remember the dramatic opening moments and credits roll. Art of the Title interviewed both Goldtooth Creative's Paul Furminger, the director of the sequence, and Eidos-Montreal's Jean-François Dugas, the game's director.

"The original concept was a descent from the macroscopic to the microscopic and from the organic to the mechanical," Furminger said. "It was all very ambitious. We knew we’d never be able to create all the CG within the tight timeframe and limited budget, so we decided to shoot live elements to help us tell the story." Interestingly, the cinematic is actually over 50% live action shots.

Well done, says us. Head over to Art of the Title and read the full interview—they've got some really interesting production images as well. Let us know what you think in the comments or on Twitter.
