Though eliminations on The X Factor usually tend to be pretty dramatic, none have been just as much so as that of now-former contestant, Rachel Crow, that took place last night.

The 13-year-old was eliminated from the singing competition after receiving the lowest number of votes, and, as can be seen in the video above, she didn't take it too well. Somehow, though, as her dreams were crushed by the iron fist of the entertainment business, she simultaneously gained the sympathy of America, who immediately looked for someone to blame. Who, possibly, could be so cruel? Since the results of that particular round of the competition had been left in a deadlock by judge Nicole Scherzinger, who decided to let America vote to choose who went home instead of saving either contestant herself, that scapegoat turned out to be her.

When Scherzinger went on stage after fellow judges Simon Cowell, L.A. Reid, and Paula Abdul to console Crow, she was booed immensely by the audience, and a hashtag called "#FireNicole" soon popped up on Twitter from fans calling for her to be fired from the series.

Crow gave a statement to People Magazine regarding her elimination and all the hate on Nicole, saying, "I want to say to all those people, 'Stop, Please.' [Scherzinger] is the nicest person and the most beautiful person inside and out. ... She is amazing, and I don't understand why people are taking it out on her. It's no one's fault. It's not even America's fault. It's no one person's fault. It's just what God had in store for me. And I will be okay."

You can see the elimination in full above. Do you think Scherzinger should have saved Crow?
