Catch a DJ Set from Four Tet in Brooklyn Saturday (11/12)

Kieran Hebdan puts his paws on the ones and twos.

None

Kieran Hebdan is Four Tet, a sample-rich, beat-heavy project from England. In the past decade, his output has grown exponentially, from the lush soundscapes found on 2003’s Rounds to the more deconstructed stylings of The Exchange Sessions records, his two collaborations with jazz drummer Steve Reid. Along the way, he’s made an enormous amount of remixes for his peers, including Madvillian, Battles, and Radiohead, with whom he’s toured, and recently collaborated with British dubstep producer Burial and Thom Yorke for a two-song 12”. His appearance is part of Brooklyn’s Electronic Music Fest happening this weekend in 6 different clubs, also featuring Matthew Dear, Daedalus, Hudson Mohawke and Kingdom.
