After holding an open casting call in Manhattan earlier this month, The Dark Knight Rises will finally film in the real Gotham City.
Although it won’t be filming in Zuccotti Park, filming will take place on Wall Street near the Occupy Wall Street protest beginning today. A Gothamist reader snapped the photos above on 58th Street, between 5th and 6th and right by the Plaza Hotel.
Residents have been told that upcoming scenes will involve gunfire, so between the filming of one 2012’s most anticipated films and Occupy Wall Street, there’s going to be a lot going on in and around Zuccotti Park this weekend.
