It’s Halloween at The Troc tomorrow, and they’re showing the George A. Romero cult classic Creepshow. With a screenplay penned by Stephen King, Creepshow pays homage to 1950’s horror comics like Tales from the Crypt. With an ensemble cast featuring the likes of Leslie Nielsen, Ted Dandson, Ed Harris and Hal Holbrook, Creepshow tells five tales of horror in just two hours. Due to its strong box office performance, it yielded a sequel and is still highly respected by horror movie buffs nearly thirty years later.

Because it’s Halloween, expect people to be out in the streets. You might want to show up before 7 p.m. for the free popcorn and beer, and the $3 cover shouldn’t hurt anyone’s pickets. Don’t be surprised if you see people both drunk and in costume. That’s usually how goes on Halloween.
