Since its inception, The Incredible Hulk has been one of Marvel's most profitable and creatively successful titles ever. Talent such as Greg Pak, John Byrne, Todd McFarlane, and Peter David helped transform the Hulk from a two-dimensional monster into one of the most complicated and interesting characters in all of comics. But last month, Marvel ended the current volume of The Incredible Hulk with issue 635.

Now, writer Jason Aaron and artist Marc Silvestri are bringing the book back in smashing fashion with The Incredible Hulk #1. They are turning the typical Hulk dynamic on its head as they dig deep into the relationship between Bruce Banner and his monstrous alter-ego.

According to Marvel, "It’s the buildup to the greatest showdown fans have been demanding - Banner versus Hulk. Who is the beast and who is the man?" If that isn't enough to get your mouth watering, the House of Ideas has provided us with some stunning preview art from the series' first issue, on sale October 26.
