Over the past few months, hacker groups LulzSec and Anonymous have been terrorizing the internet as they have successfully hacked databases from numerous corporations and government agencies around the world. They’ve even gone as far as to openly declare war on all governments and banks. Today a 19-year old suspected hacker was arrested in the UK and while they have not confirmed any possible ties to the infamous hacker groups, police have seized “a significant amount of material”, which will be examined for data stolen from Sony. The LulzSec Twitter feed responded to the news with the following tweet:
Hopefully, we get more information soon out of the evidence that was recovered, but at least there’s some hope that these technological terrorists might be brought down. [via Reddit]
