Rumor No More: Ashton Kutcher Replaces Charlie Sheen on "Two and a Half Men"

"What's the square root of 6.25?"

None

It seems like just yesterday that we were scoffing at the notion of Ashton Kutcher accepting an offer to play the "New Charlie Sheen" on Two and a Half Men, but here you go: Kutcher has officially accepted the role, according to multiple sources.

No actual announcement has been made just yet, of course—expect that during the pomp and circumstance of the Upfronts next week—but it's allegedly a done deal. Kutcher himself even took to Twitter last night to write the rhetorical question, "What's the square root of 6.25?" (It's 2.5, non-math majors.) And if it's being written about on Twitter, it must be true.

No word yet on what role Kutcher will play, but it will be a totally different character than Sheen's. Which begs the question: Does Kutcher returning to television (following years on That '70s Show) make you more likely to watch Two and a Half Men next fall, or does it not matter?
