Can HBO just go ahead and pick up More as the Story Develops—the Aaron Sorkin cable news pilot—for series? OK, cool. The New York Post reports that Oscar winner Marisa Tomei is in talks with the network about appearing in Story as a cable news producer.
The show—which Sorkin researched by following the on-set madness at cable news channels like CNN, Fox News and MSNBC—is set to star Jeff Daniels as the leading anchor; Tomei, if cast, would likely play his female executive producer. The pilot is being directed by Greg Mottola, of Superbad fame. So, yes: You're going to want to keep tabs on its development.
