And Another One: Lenovo Prepping Android Thinkpad Tablet

Will this be the first true business tablet?

After the BlackBerry PlayBook failed to capture the interest of the corporate (and consumer) world, it looks as if Lenovo's ThinkPad brand will be gunning for those corporate accounts this summer with its own Honeycomb-runnig Tablet, according to a report from This Is My Next

A leaked PowerPoint presentation unveiled that the upcoming ThinkPad tablet will be tailor made for "on-the-go-professionals." To help with that, the tablet will come with a skinned version of Honeycomb and a "keyboard portfolio case" that will allow users to treat it as a laptop.

Other specs, according to the presentation, will include a dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, front and rear cameras, a 10.1-inch 1280x800 IPS touchscreen with a "true pen" option for "sketching and note-taking." It'll also sport USB 2.0, mini-HDMI, 3G and 4G connectivity, and a full-sized SD Card slot. Consumers will be able to cop it in 16, 32, and 64 GB configurations.

And that's about all we know. The market is calling for a business-friendly tablet, maybe this will be it.
