According to The Hollywood Reporter, Isla Fisher is in talks to play Myrtle in Baz Luhrmann’s adaptation of The Great Gatsby.

If Fisher does sign on, she will join Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire, and Carey Mulligan in the flick. Ben Affleck has also been rumored as a possible cast member, though there's still been no confirmation as of yet.

The Great Gatsby, which is expected to start production this summer, will adapt F. Scott Fitzgerald’s classic novel about the life of the mysterious Jay Gatsby (DiCaprio) and the effect he has on his neighbor, Nick Carraway (Maguire.) Carey Mulligan will play Gatsby’s love interest, Daisy Buchanan, with Ben Affleck rumored to play her husband, Tom.

And, yes, like all great adaptations of classic American literature should be, The Great Gatsby will be shot in 3-D.
