This June, Deadpool will be facing Fear Itself head on whether anyone wants him to or not! While the God of Fear ravages the world, the only hope for salvation is Deadpool. While that might not sound like a great proposition for Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, comic fans are surely frothing at the thought of Deadpool bumbling and insulting his way through Marvel’s most anticipated event of the year.
Written by Christopher Hastings with art by Bong Dazo, Fear Itself: Deadpool looks to take the usually self-contained Deadpool to a whole new level.
“Fear Itself is a story with tremendous gravity and emotional heft. Matt Fraction's doing an amazing job of tapping into the real fears of everyday people, and retelling them through the troubles of the Marvel heroes,” explains Hastings. “Of course this means it's all the more fun to bring in the clown with a gun! Deadpool is my favorite Marvel character, and I'm so excited to write for him. This mini is going to be a lot of fun, the way that Deadpool knows fun. A gratuitous number of explosions are guaranteed!”
