For the few of you fed up with your version of Snow Leopard, smile. Apple has just dropped the latest update to its Mac OS 10.6 operating system.

Like most updates, 10.6.7 beefs up overall security, compatibility, and stability, and fixes a number of solitary issues like the reliability of Apple's ad hoc network feature Back To My Mac.

It also touches on some DVD Player playback issues, MacBook Air kernel panics, AirPort driver issues, external display brightness issues, unresponsiveness with the Mac App store, and a host of other problems.

And if you just copped a new MacBook Pro, Apple's offering a special build of 10.6.7 that seeks to fix FaceTime, graphics, and external display issues.

Snow Leopard users can get the update via Software Update or from the Apple website.
