REALITY: WILD RECON, ANIMAL PLANET, 8 PM
• Wild Recon's host, Donald Schultz, is like a cross between Steve Irwin and Bear Grylls. Schultz ventures into the wilderness, seeking out dangerous and exotic animals to collect their venom for "scientific research." Tonight's episode features Schultz tracking down black mambas to gather samples of their disease-curing venom.

DOCUMENTARY: DEADLIEST WARRIOR, SPIKE, 6 PM
• Hypothetically speaking, what would happen if a network was scrambling for prime time programming but could only come up with something half-witted and semi-appealing? Well, in the case of Spike, they've answered that question with Deadliest Warrior. Tune in tonight to see a hypothetical battle between a Green Beret and a Russian secret agent. It may be a little low-budget, but we're still down.

DRAMA: LOST, ABC, 9 PM
• We're still not totally sure what's going on, but if we've learned anything from the last five seasons of Lost, it's that persistence pays off...sometimes. But seriously, if we don't start getting some damn answers soon, our brains are going to explode.

SPORTS: BEING JOHN DALY, GOLF, 9 PM
• It makes sense for the Danny Bonaduce of golf to get his own reality show. Being John Daly premieres tonight, but apparently Daly isn't the wild man he once was. After all, there's almost nothing a couple stomach staples and some rehab can't fix.

DOCUMENTARY: LIFE AFTER PEOPLE: SKY'S THE LIMIT, HISTORY, 10 PM
• LAP is one of our favorite shows, mostly because we're really concerned about what's gonna happen to the lucky 8-year-old jar of salsa we keep in the fridge when we die. Tonight's new episode centers on catastrophic events associated with flight, including a plague of locusts in the Midwest. Don't worry Salsy, your eight years of compounding preservatives will save you!
