Tyga not only dropped in on the Breakfast Club Thursday for an enlightening discussion on the possibility of planted stories and his current relationship with G.O.O.D. Music; he also stopped by Real 92.3 for a one-on-one discussion with Big Boy. During the 42-minute chat, Tyga got candid about his new project Bitch I'm the Shit 2 and the ongoing Rob Kardashian x Blac Chyna fallout. Of course, the topic of his now-defunct relationship with Kylie Jenner was also broached.

Asked at the top of the interview if he felt his high-profile involvement with the Kardashians overshadowed his art, Tyga mostly agreed. "Most definitely," he said. "I'm not doing anything differently than I was back then. I was still selling out shows, moving around, getting my hustle on. It's just what people chose to put in the spotlight more than the music. I had to sit back and really, like, figure out a game plan of timing. A lot of the music that I've been working on, a lot of it's been done and a lot of it we just added more layers to it."

On his new music, Tyga said, he addresses all that's been going on in his personal life. "I mean, I think music is always supposed to be real and it's supposed to connect," he said at the 6:19 mark. "So whatever the artist is going through or whatever you're going through in life has gotta paint the picture."

Later in the interview, Big Boy brought up the recent Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian happenings. Tyga said he was "watching just like everybody else, laughing" when he first heard the news. The rapper was asked (at the 21:34 mark) if he was surprised. "I don't think I was surprised. I wasn't... I think, for the most part, if you in a relationship and you in love, you go through certain emotions and certain things trigger you to act a certain way. In that situation, we saw how it panned out." Tyga added that he chooses to keep family business off social media.
