Premiere: Donae'O May Have Been "Raised In The Sauce", But He Just Wants To Make Us Happy

The 'Sixteen' mixtape is sounding unstoppable.

After the recent success of both "Black" (with Dizzee and Jme) and the Fredo-assisted "Whole Life", Brit music legend Donae'O is back with another heater from Sixteen, his newly released 14-track mixtape. "Raised In The Sauce" is the track in question and it sees the "Party Hard" don take the limelight as he raps and sing in his inimitable style over a particularly woozy production, courtesy of The Heavytrackerz.

Explaining how the track came together, Donae'O told Complex via email: "This was one of the first co-productions I'd done in a long while and I was super lucky that Heavytrackerz were so easy to work with and they got the vision. I'd love to work with them again. All of us had had a bad day that day—everyone was down, the energy was low, and we just weren't connecting properly. When we ended up making 'Raised In The Sauce', it lifted up the energy in the studio so much that we ended up dancing to it for five hours straight! It was like a real gift from God and it made everyone happier; it added to our day, and I hope it does the same for other people."
