Just days after he dropped a new song with RL Grimes, Miguel stopped by Snoop Dogg’s GGN studio to tease what he has in store next.
At around the 12-minute mark, the Wildheart singer begins playing the track before revealing it will drop sometime next month. Miguel reveals he’s working on about three different projects at the moment, but the most completed—and presumably the next—project will include the upcoming single.
“I need this on my DJ playlist,” Snoop tells Miguel. “You know I break records, man. You would want it to be in my hands.”
The two also discussed topics like Miguel’s engagement to Nazanin Mandi, the kind of music he listened to growing up, as well as his burgeoning film career. During the latter discussion, Snoop revealed he was working on a new project and had a potential role for Miguel.
“I can’t even really explain it right now, but it’s on some, like … picture this: Hamlet, but on some motherfuckin' pimpin’.” Snoop said. “There’s definitely a role in there for you.”
