Linkin Park filmed an episode of Carpool Karaoke: The Series less than a week before the death of Chester Bennington.

Linkin Park posted a photo on Twitter last Friday of Bennington standing alongside Mike Shinoda, Joe Hahn, and actor Ken Jeong. The caption indicates that the band was filming an episode for the Apple Music spin-off of the sketch made famous on The Late Late Show with James Corden.

Late Late Show exective producer Ben Winston responded to Jeong's tweet, stating that the new Carpool Karaoke series will premiere on August 8.

However, there has been no word yet on whether Apple Music will actually air Linkin Park's spot on the show.

On the same day as Bennington's death, Linkin Park debuted the video for "Talking to Myself," the latest single off the band's seventh studio album, One More Light, which was released in May. According to TMZ, one of Bennington's bandmates went to his Palos Verdes Estates home to pick him up for a photo shoot on the same day that his housekeeper discovered his body. Linkin Park announced on Friday that the band was cancelling their upcoming One More Light North American tour.
