On Everyday Struggle, Vic Mensa let the world know that he had an album on the way. After taking fans on a scavenger hunt, Vic posted the tracklist on Twitter, alerting listeners to the featured artists on the album (which is titled The Autobiography); those features include Pusha T, Weezer, The-Dream, Syd, and more.

Since Vic's a member of Roc Nation, it's no surprise that Jay Z was in the house during a listening party for The Autobiography in Los Angeles last night, but it IS dope to hear the glowing endorsement Hov gave Vic.

"Vic is a very special guy," Jay began. After asking people to not do "that industry shit" at the party, Jay wanted people to "groove" to Vic's LP. "Vic is a very special talent; sing well, rap well...he's an incredible artist, a once-in-a-lifetime artist." Jay mentioned that he could talk the crowd to death, but stopped himself to get Vic out on the stage.

The album, which Vic says he worked on for a year, is executive-produced by No I.D., who also helmed Jay's recently-released 4:44. In speaking to Rolling Stone about the album, Vic made a point to mention that he feels like "we're in a point in time on this earth when honesty is paramount. Honesty is key. And there's so little honesty and so little to believe in, so making this album my criterion was that I say things that are honest and that I believe in wholeheartedly."

The Autobiography will be released on July 28.
