It hasn't all been going smoothly in the world of Tory Lanez lately—I trust you saw him get the life blocked out of him on the basketball court—but if you believe the reports circulating this summer, he did take one important step. Ending his years long feud with Drake is important, because it obviously can't hurt to be on the good side of one of the biggest artists on the planet.

Though he admits everything is cool with Drizzy these days, Lanez isn't sharing a whole lot about what got them here. When he sat down for a recent interview with Hot 97Lanez avoided confirming what steps were taken to solve the beef, and instead insisted he'd like to keep it between him and Drake.

"It's about music at this point," he said. "That was between me and him, I think for it to happen the way it happened it was meant to happen that way. And for whatever the reasons around it were, it's between me and him."

Though that doesn't make for good gossip fodder, that's how most adults that aren't in the entertainment industry choose to handle their business. The reports are that all it took was a simple phone call to solve the problem between the two rappers, and if that's indeed the case, it's a shame it took so long to get to this point.

Lanez also addressed another recent controversy during the interview, sharing the story of what happened when he dropped $35K at a luxury story after one of its employees gave him the cold shoulder. He reiterated he didn't spend the money exclusively to flex on the guy he caught on camera, but that making fun of him while doing it was a nice bonus.

"We were going to the store to spend $35K regardless," he said. "It wasn't that we spent money to get at him, because of course the store is still going to get the bread, we gave the store credit to somebody else, so the $35K went to somebody else. That's why I filmed him on camera, I was like, you should've gotten the business, but next time maybe you'll think twice before you look at somebody based off their appearance and how they look."

If you've ever been treated like your money isn't good somewhere or looked at like you couldn't afford something in their store, you can definitely sympathize with Lanez doing a little flossin' in front of a rude employee.
