I guess Miley doesn't smoke weed anymore? Idk.

The typically insufferable Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fascist got a lucky boost Wednesday night. Miley Cyrus, fresh off the release of new singles "Malibu" and "Inspired," stopped by for a two-song performance and joined the host for a riveting discussion on her seemingly sudden state of weedlessness.

"I did, and you know what?" Cyrus told the host when asked if she had actually stopped regularly enjoying weed. "I was just saying that you, without knowing it, were kind of a reason for this. I've always been very stoned on your shows. I don't know if you know this. It's weird to be here. Remember the last time I was here? I think I was dressed as, like, a bunny rabbit and then, like, a cat. There's a reason for that. I was high."

The forthcoming new album was a major reason for Cyrus' weed pause. "I stopped smoking because to sit here and to talk about what I'm doing, I wanted to be really clear because I'm actually the most passionate about what I'm doing with this record...I loved making this record so, so much," she said. "And this record for me at this moment is the most important album that I've ever made, so I wanted to make sure that I'm super clear about the way I'm talking."

Cyrus also recalled a nightmare she had about dying right in the middle of her Saturday Night Live monologue due to being too high, i.e. a state of being that is impossible to achieve. "No one's ever died from weed, but no one's ever smoked as much as I did," Cyrus claimed, seemingly unaware of just how high other weed dabblers have gotten in the past.

Cyrus' new album, her first studio effort since 2013's Bangerz, is expected to be released later this year.
