Brandy was reportedly hospitalized Friday after an "ill passenger" was reported on a Delta Airlines plane at Los Angeles International Airport. Officers responded at around 7 a.m. Friday morning to reports of an "unconscious or almost unconscious" passenger, ABC 7reported. The plane had not departed at the time of the incident. Brandy, who was "fully conscious" when escorted off the plane, was taken to a nearby hospital.

According to a report from TMZ, Brandy—who was traveling from LAX to JFK Friday—was in "stable" condition when taken to the hospital. A Delta representative offered Complex the following statement regarding Delta flight 763 Friday, but did not confirm the identity of the passenger:

The flight crew of Delta flight 763 from LAX to New York’s JFK International Airport returned to the gate, prior to departure, after a customer fell ill on board. Medical personnel met the flight and transported the customer to a local hospital. Flight 763 departed for New York roughly 45 minutes behind schedule.

Los Angeles World Airports Police did not immediately respond to Complex's request for comment.

Brandy is set to headline the LA Pride Festival later this month alongside Chromeo, Young M.A, Aaron Carter, and Makonnen:
