Travis Scott dropped the video for his Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight track "Way Back" Wednesday. The clip features James Harden of Scott's beloved Houston Rockets.

Back in October, Complex's own Matt Welty attended an Adidas event where the video for "Way Back" was screened with both Harden and Scott in attendance. So when the Houston rapper says he was sitting on this for a while, he wasn't lying.

The clip opens on our star watching multiple news reports at once, including a couple from the very website you're reading right now:

Scott is currently enjoying a great fucking May. As we reported Tuesday, both Rodeo and Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight were certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America on the exact same day, May 22.

Scot is also the newest face of Nike, linking up with the iconic brand for its VaporMax sneaker. In an exclusive talk with Complex last week, Scott said he’s always wanted to land a Nike collaboration. "My relationship [with Nike] started when I was a kid, even if they didn't know it at the time," Scott said. "I have always been into the brand and have always wanted a relationship with Nike."

Astroworld, Scott's follow-up to Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight, is expected to be released at some point this year. "Album coming soon," Scott told the crowd at The Rave/Eagles Club in Wisconsin earlier this month. "I've been up late working on some tunes." Scott, however, did not specify whether he was referring to Astroworld or his joint project with Quavo.
