"For those who don't understand, Tip had some infidelities with a girl who I hired, and that girl is one of the reasons why I got my own house," Tiny claimed on the episode. T.I. also made his own claims. "There's levels to this shit," he said. "I spent millions on you. What the fuck are you saying?"
The dramatic finale was one hell of a roller coaster ride, uniting Twitter in jokes and commentary:
Though reconciliation of some sort was rumored earlier this year, E! Newsreported in April that Tiny had served T.I. with divorce papers. T.I. reportedly responded by filing an acknowledge of service. The couple married in 2010. Split reports first popped up in December 2016.
The Family Hustle's legacy, however, lives on. The series goes down as the first VH1 series to hit the 100th episode mark. Speaking with Deadline ahead of the finale, the network's head of unscripted Nina Diaz recalled the "great partnership" she had with Tip and Tameka. "Their family has been a cultural touchstone, they are the lovable first family of VH1," she said. "We have gone through six seasons of seeing them, their children grow from little kids to teenagers. We saw the birth of baby Heiress. Their son Messiah is preparing to leave the nest for college. We were there for so many important family moments."
Asked about spinoff plans, Diaz said, "You never know."
