Earlier this year, Kieron Boothe — a rising rapper from London — released the third and final part in his Lone Wolf mixtape series. All thematically similar, he stuck to the tried and tested format of its predecessors — lacing rhymes over a mixture of drum-laden beats that came mostly from in-demand producer Tom Misch and the late, great hip-hop master J Dilla.

Today, Kieron Boothe unveils the lead video for the project's intro, "Blue Skies", and aligns the track with fittingly care-free visuals. On an evening stroll through a London park — over twinkling keys, he drops reflective rhymes on overcoming a dark battle with depression; it's a personal one that will hit home with many.

Quizzed on his plans for the rest of the year, Boothe told Complex that he'll be doing "a Lone Wolf show at the end of the summer" with the promise of a new project — The Stoned Age — dropping in autumn. In the meantime, watch the video for "Blue Skies" exclusively above.
