The feud between Drake and Ludacris has been squashed for years, and Luda wants to make sure we're all aware of that.

During an acceptance speech at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards last weekend, Drizzy reminded the world that he and Luda weren’t always on the best of terms. He gave a shout-out to the Atlanta artist and insisted there was no longer any bad blood.

“Ludacris, we haven’t always seen eye to eye, but I’ve always been a big fan of yours and I got a lot of love for you," he said to Luda, who was also hosting the awards show. "I want to let you know that face to face, while I’m still here."

It seemed like Drake was officially calling a truce at the time; however, Luda claims the More Life rapper apologized prior to this year’s BBMAs.

“Everything is good,” Luda recently told the New York Daily News. “We had a conversation before he even did that.”

So how long before the show did Drake say “sorry”? Was it hours? Days? Weeks? As we previously pointed out, Luda said he received an apology from Drake several years ago.

"Me and Drake are alright […] he had said some things in public, but then he apologized privately,” he said during a 2015 interview on The Breakfast Club. “I was like you have to apologize in public the same way you said it in public.”

It might’ve taken longer than expected, but it seems Luda finally got what he wanted last weekend.

Their feud is said to have started after Drake’s 2010 AllHipHop interview, in which he seemingly criticized Luda for trying to pull off the “Supa Dupa” rapping style.

“Then a bunch of rappers started doing it and using the most terrible references in the world,” he said. “I don’t want to offend somebody. I hate that rappers picked that flow up. I wish they had left that for people that know how to use it. [The ones who say] It’s a parade! MACYS!”

The two then exchanged additional shots through their music; however, their feud seemed to have died down in recent years. Now we know why.
