Have Lil Wayne and Birdman Reconciled?

Just one week after issuing some disrespectful talk about Cash Money Records, Lil Wayne is seen posing with Birdman's children on Instagram.

A week after multiple fans captured Lil Wayne on stage in concert saying, "Fuck Cash Money," the rapper was seen posing with the two children of Cash Money CEO and co-founder Bryan "Birdman" Williams on Friday night. Wayne was in Miami, Florida as a headliner for the Rolling Loud Festival and also managed to pop up on Birdman’s Instagram feed in photos with two of Williams’ children, Bria and Bryan Jr. Birdman captioned both photos with the hashtags "#4L" and "#BLOODLOVE."

For what it’s worth, video from Wayne’s Rolling Loud performance features him in a white Gucci hoodie, and Wayne can clearly be seen in the same hoodie while taking photos with Bria and Bryan Jr. So it’s at least reasonably safe to conclude that the photos Birdman posted on IG were taken sometime before or after Wayne's Rolling Loud appearance.

That said, the latest batch of photo evidence in the ongoing back and forth between Birdman and Wayne could bring fans closer to getting Tha Carter V. It could also mean nothing at all. In January 2016, Birdman and Wayne were spotted together at LIV nightclub in Miami, Florida. There’s also the matter of Wayne hitting Cash Money with a $51 million lawsuit, not to mention Lil Wayne’s seemingly ambiguous relationship with Roc Nation.

With recent statements from both Birdman and Lil Wayne that Tha Carer V would finally see a release in 2017, fans can choose to take the IG photos as a strong indicator things are looking up. Alternatively, maybe this was just a family-friendly moment that made its way to Birdman’s Instagram feed in between the usual stunting and product placement.
