Haim returned to the Saturday Night Live stage this weekend to perform a couple of tracks from their long-awaited sophomore album.

The sisters made the appearance just weeks after they announced Something to Tell You, the follow-up to 2013’s Days Are Gone. In conjunction with the news, Este, Danielle, and Alana Haim released the official music video for “Right Now" that proceeds the project’s lead single “Want You Back.”

During an interview with Rolling Stone, the members discussed the upcoming album and explained why it took them years to complete. Haim said they began working on the album as soon as they finished touring in 2014, but they found it difficult to produce anything they were satisfied with.

"All we knew for two years was wake up, soundcheck, play the show, go to sleep and fit in a slice of pizza at some point. We needed to turn our brains from touring brains back to writing brains,” Alana explained. “When we came home, we literally got off the bus, took a nap and went right into the studio […] But we were really hard on ourselves […] You get scared. Like, 'Can we do this again?'"

You can watch Haim’s SNL performance in the video above, and the one of "Little of Your Love" below. Something to Tell You is set to drop July 7. Haim has also announced several UK tour dates, including appearances at Reading & Leeds Festival and BBC Radio One’s Big Weekend.
