FTSE, the solo moniker of Birmingham-born producer Sam Manville, is fast becoming known for his irreverent and truly global take on club music. On his latest cut, the Rinse-released "Drum Machine", he mixes up a dizzying whirl of percussion and off-kilter melodies that bounce and clatter in a way that could only be described as organised chaos. Elements of various strains of U.S. club music like Jersey club and Miami bass collide with deep house and bassline, all neatly tied together with a peak-time UKG beat. FTSE told Complex over email that he's "been trying to find a sweet spot between music that can be played in the club and feel-good, fun time dance music. Stuff that doesn't take itself too seriously. Perfect for 3am raves and/or children's birthday parties."

We couldn't have said it any better ourselves.
