Kicking off 2017, and Ray's back with the "Patience" freestyle, and a video to boot. As with "My Hood", the tone of "Patience" is understated and relatable, both in the track and the video. "We wanted to do something natural," Ray explained, "something everyday that people could relate to—a conversation in the hair salon. I wanted it to feel like I'm talking to whoever is watching so they really hear the message." Relaxed, soulful and with a strong message of self-empowerment, "Patience" just adds further weight to her hard-earned status.
