Fetty Wap was allegedly involved in a disagreement which led to shots being fired in his hometown of Paterson, New Jersey early Sunday morning. According to Paterson deputy police chief Troy Oswald, the shooting took place shortly after 5 a.m. at a deli located on Montclair Avenue, leaving three people being wounded.

While Oswald would only confirm that Willie Maxwell, a.k.a. Fetty Wap, and several of his friends were "involved" in the altercation, he made it clear that they are "not suspects in the shooting or a robbery that happened during the incident." Two of three wounded individuals were rushed to nearby St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center while the other was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center. All of them are not facing life-threatening injuries.

As of right now, it is uncertain if the victims had any connection to Fetty Wap. Authorities have not been forthcoming regarding what exactly led to the shooting. Either way, it appears that Fetty isn't all too concerned about the incident since he continues to deliver his inspirational and thought-provoking messages on Twitter.
