Birdman Claims He's Going to Share 500 Unreleased Cash Money Songs for Next 5 Years

Birdman claims he's going to drop 500 unreleased Cash Money songs for the next five years. Do you believe him?

However you feel about Birdman's, err, unique business approach to the music industry, you can't deny the empire the hip-hop mogul has built. That includes a deep catalog of Cash Money classics, and, as it turns out, an even larger collection of unreleased music.

Birdman recently took to Twitter to share a photo featuring old tapes and containers that may be filled with music from years past. "Wen I'm my VAULT today found thousand s of OLD CASHMONEY MUSIC I'm release 500 songs a year for next 5yrs Cashmoney collection legendary," he wrote.

500 songs a year for five years? Dude must have had his artists working day and night through the years.

He also shared a similar message on Instagram, though he excluded the "for five years" part:

Whether he actually follows through with this plan is anyone's guess, but we have a feeling it's probably a glass half empty proposition. Birdman is still embroiled in a lawsuit with Lil Wayne to the tune of $51 million. It would be a cold move if he were to drop a bunch of old Weezy cuts this year and profit off it. Maybe even colder than buying a gold toilet while still owing Wayne money.

Here's a glass half full moment: Wayne, Drake, and Nicki Minaj together, which Birdman reposted on IG. Good luck on them cutting out Birdman from the profits, though.
