Tomi Lahren Tried to Clap Back at Wale and Failed Miserably

Infamous political commentator Tomi Lahren attemped to clap back at Wale on Twitter and ended up getting ethered in the process.

Infamous political commentator Tomi Lahren may want to think twice before she gets into a feud with a rapper. Exhibit A: Jay Z. The latest is Wale, who name-dropped Lahren on his new song "Smile." Peep the song and lyrics below:

None

Lahren must have been perusing SoundCloud because she evidently came across the song, heard the lyrics (at least we know she doesn't just skim through the music), and replied on Twitter:

So if you're gonna put someone in a song...diss 'em.. perhaps get their fricken name right next time @Wale

On second thought, maybe Wale's rhymes went over her head. The rapper continued his misspelling of her name:

Which led to this failed clap back from Lahren:

The "whale" joke might could have worked almost a decade ago ("They keep sayin' whale, but my name Wale"), but in 2016? Twitter wouldn't let Lahren off the hook, either:

@TomiLahren @Wale too bad Wale has already acknowledged the confusion on his rap name in his songs long ago pic.twitter.com/oR5x0MlYWZ
.@TomiLahren @Wale this dont work you had to @ him first you already know how to spell his name šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

Add another L to her stat line.

@TomiLahren take the L Tammy!
