Snoop Dogg’s non-musical interests range from youth football to clothing merchandise and his own entertainment news show. An enthusiasm for recreational marijuana use has also been a constant for Snoop since his initial appearance on 1992’s Deep Cover soundtrack. As Miley Cyrus and her boyfriend Liam Hemsworth celebrated Hemsworth’s 27th birthday, Snoop shared his appreciation by gifting Miley and Liam some items from his cannabis-centric business venture, Merry Jane.
Cyrus posted a series of Instagram photos from the festivities, and a sign hanging over the party gift bags with the phrase “Weed!” inscribed on it left very little to the imagination. A similar sign hinted at margaritas infused with Cannabidiol oil (CBD). Aside from Snoop’s gifts, there appeared to be some clear West Coast inspiration, as Miley and her guests donned Compton shirts in photos tagged N.W.L. using the same font found on N.W.A’s Straight Outta Compton album.
The singer and former Hannah Montana actress shouted out Snoop and his company in a caption, writing, “Thanks Uncle @snoopdogg for being such a dope ganja innovator.”
Snoop Dogg and Miley Cyrus previously collaborated on the track "Ashtrays and Heartbreaks" from the 2013 album Reincarnated, which Snoop recorded under the moniker of Snoop Lion.
