Today in things that probably didn't happen but are openly discussed anyway, we have a wild allegation regarding Drake and Madonna. The two titans of pop allegedly had themselves a "secret fling" back in 2015, at least according to the should-be-approached-with-skepticism sources over at (gulp) the Sun.
"Everyone in Madonna's circle was totally aware there was a brief fling between Madonna and Drake in 2015," one source, who's allegedly "close to Madonna," claimed Monday. "They knew it wasn't going to last forever obviously but both of them were single at the time. There was definitely a massive attraction between them."
Despite the alleged massiveness of their attraction, the source concluded that Drake and Madonna have no intentions of ever publicly discussing any of this.
Even if every single word of that is pure bullshit, here's what we do know for sure:
- Madonna and Drake shared a very public kiss at Coachella in May 2015. Though Drake later praised the kiss on Instagram, Madonna struck a slightly different tone in an interview on Saturday Night Online. "Don't kiss Drake no matter how many times he fucking begs you to," she said when asked to reveal what advice she would give to her younger self.
- Earlier that year, Drake included a 40-produced track called "Madonna" on his If You're Reading This It’s Too Late album. The song is pretty damn good.
So yeah. Who the fuck knows? The last we heard of Drake relationshipping rumors, he was seemingly locked in a Jennifer Lopez romance. Conspiracy theorists, however, are convinced the pairing is just a ploy to promote an impending collaboration.
