After Kehlani debuted “Table” via SoundCloud earlier in the fall, a new video has surfaced for her Little Simz collaboration. The visual was directed by David Camarena, and features various shots of Kehlani and Simz in the latter’s North London neighborhood displaying the type of chemistry Kehlani talked about in her interview with Manny Norte.
“We found each other on social media and connected,” Kehlani said on a recent episode of The Norte Show. “We met at South by Southwest and we’re really friends. She’s been to my house in L.A. We’ve went out to eat. She comes to support me at my show whether I bring her out or not. I always love to bring her out, whenever I’m [in the UK]. It’s much respect to a woman that can handle all that.”
The track is backed by a sample of SWV’s 1996 single “Use Your Heart,” and Camarena’s familiarity with Kehlani from the video “Alive” is on display as she and Simz playfully interact throughout the clip. The scenes alternate between a nearby park and various nightlife featuring the two artists. As Kehlani indicated in a recent tweet about “Table,” both the video and the single are a family affair.

Kehlani’s SweetSexySavage album is slated for release on Jan. 27, 2017. The Bay Area songstress has also launched a tour in conjunction with the album scheduled for Feb. 2017.
