Drake has just scored another big win in his record-breaking year. Billboard reports the Toronto rapper's No. 1 song "One Dance" just became the first track to reach 1 billion plays on Spotify.

This isn't the first time Drizzy has reached a billion mark on a music service. Views became the first album to earn more than a billion streams on Apple Music back in September. Earlier this month, his music also dominated all of Apple's top-end lists.  Drake took all three top spots on Apple Music's year-end charts with Views earning the No. 1 spot on Apple's Top 25 Albums chart. "One Dance" then topped both the Top 25 Songs chart and the Best of Beats 1 Playlist.

There's also the fact that he recently nabbed a whopping eight Grammy nominations that Views was recently certified quadruple platinum in the U.S.

In other Drake news, Gucci Mane gave an update on their rumored collaboration project during his Breakfast Club interview Friday morning. "We recorded two songs since I been out, but as far as working on an actual album, I sent him some ideas. He sent me some, but it's just ain't the right time...So hopefully the top of the year, we can get on top of it." Until then, we still have the pair's latest joint "Both" that just dropped on Guwop's The Return of East Atlanta Santa.

Drake was clearly one of the few that had a pretty solid 2016. We'll be watching to see what he's got for us next when More Life arrives at the top of next year.
