It looks like campaigners are winning the fight to #SaveFabric.

According to the Islington Tribune, London's iconic Fabric nightclub is in advanced talks with Islington Council and the Metropolitan Police to reopen its doors, subject to a new set of licensing conditions.

The nightclub's license was revoked by an Islington Council committee on September 6, following the deaths of two 18-year-old clubbers at the venue, and was forced to close.

Fabric had been set to appeal that decision at a hearing on November 28, but reports claim the hearing might not go ahead, with parties now seeking to come to an agreement out-of-court.

The decision to close Fabric earlier this year was met with a storm of resistance from clubbers, artists and politicians, including Mayor of London Sadiq Khan.

Almost £320,000 had been raised by Fabric supporters to fund the legal battle to reopen the nightclub.
