Apple Music launched the flagship radio station Beats 1 in June of last year, injecting a human touch into the world of digital radio and curated music streaming. All weekend at ComplexCon, Beats 1 broadcast live in a glass booth built at the entrance for fans and listeners to check out.

Zane Lowe was in good spirits playing cuts from ComplexCon performers like Smino and D.R.A.M. to an audience of thousands at the Long Beach Convention Center. Ebro Darden was also in effect, inviting Complex founder Marc Ecko, and Chief Content Officer Noah Callahan-Bever into the booth for interviews. Their banter opened the weekend-long event, and while Nike and BAPE attracted lines that stretched across the floor, the Beats 1 hosts kept the audience discovering new music throughout the weekend.

What's more, DJ Samantha Ronson kept the music going live from The Beats 1 Studio, and was later followed by an OVO Sound broadcast. DJ Chase B also jumped on the boards, while Xzibit rolled through to host Dre's Beats 1 show The Pharmacy.

If that wasn't dope enough, Long Beach's own DJ Battlecat went at it live J-Rocc, of indie label, Stones Throw, and Alabama trap trio Watch the Duck hit the studio, spinning a mix of dubstep and hip-hop.

Arguably one of the most exciting moments of the weekend, ComplexCon's own Cultural Director and Executive Chair Pharrell and co-host Scott Vener held a special live taping of their Beats 1 show OTHERtone with ComplexCon headliner Snoop Dogg. To check out that episode, make sure to tune into OTHERtone this Sunday, November 13.

And to keep the hits going past ComplexCon weekend, keep it locked to Beats 1 and subscribe to Apple Music for more great music exclusives.
