In the weeks leading up to the release of her sixth studio album Here, Alicia Keys has provided several sneak peeks at what the project will offer. In addition to unveiling the record’s full tracklist, the singer/songwriter has also rolled out its “Holy War” and “Blended Family” singles, as well as the deluxe edition track “In Common.” And now, just days away from the album’s official drop, the 35-year-old has blessed us another exciting preview.

Keys presented her short film The Gospel on Tuesday. It addresses the issue of police brutality in NYC, and includes never-before-heard tracks from Here. The 23-minute film, which was directed by A.V. Rockwell, made its debut at the Tribeca Film Festival back in April.

“[The film] really represents the New York that I grew up in, and the New York that I saw,” Keys explained at The Gospel premiere. She went on to say that the film is a four-chapter series of “vignettes of stories about coming of age in New York City.”

You can check out a clip from The Gospel, which is available exclusively on Tidal, above. Keys' album Here will drop this Friday and can be pre-ordered on iTunes.
