Drake officially turns 30 at midnight. He is starting his birthday celebrations a bit early with by hosting episode 32 of OVO Sound Radio, featuring guest mixes by him and Oliver El-Khatib. You can listen to the episode on Apple Music right here.
Fans that were fortunate enough to see Drake on his Summer Sixteen tour with Future can expect the same type of energy for this edition of OVO Sound Radio. Right now, Drake is still recovering from an ankle injury, which required him to postpone the rest of the tour. He was supposed to perform in Brooklyn, Philadelphia, and Newark earlier this month. But fans shouldn’t be too discouraged; he’s still scheduled to embark on his 2017 European tour on Jan. 21 at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam.
The biggest rumor circulated this week is if Drake will share new music. Knowing OVO Sound Radio’s pattern of releases, it’s very likely Drizzy will bless his listeners with a song or two. Will it be the first single off Beast Mode 16 that features Future and is produced by Zaytoven? Maybe a new track produced by London On Da Track? Or it’s something unexpected, say, a remix to one of 21 Savage’s songs?
