Top Dawg Entertainment is closing out the year with more releases from their roster. TDE gave fans a new Kendrick Lamar project, another ScHoolboy Q album, and the long-awaited arrival of Isaiah Rashad with The Sun’s Tirade. Some may think that three projects in one year is a lot, but TDE runs a different playbook.
Over the weekend, Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith shared a video of who appears to be Skiiiwalker, back turned to the viewer, and wearing a golden cape. The clip ends with a date—October 18, 2016—and a name: “Introverted Intuition.”
Now, we don’t know if Introverted Intuition is a project or a song, so we’ll just have to wait until next week arrives. But we can speculate that it is a project based on the songs he’s shared so far. “Speed,”“Could It Be,” and “All Stops” could easily appear on an album or EP.
And while Top has said Ab-Soul and SZA’s albums aren’t finished yet, it leaves ample room for Skiiiwalker to be properly introduced to the world. He’s appeared as a guest feature on Jay Rock and Q’s albums before. This moment is a good opportunity to actually hear a full body of work from TDE’s untraditional signee.
