Denzel Curry and Joey Badass link up in their new video for "Zenith," and they're ready to fight the power. The video, shot in a stark black and white, depicts the two rappers stranded in separate, adjacent rooms. Everyone around them is all but lifeless, staring at a singular TV screen or just blankly into nothingness. Fans may recognize several of the other actors in the video as members of Pro Era and C9, Joey and Denzel's respective crews.
Their indifference makes Curry visibly angry, and he starts throwing chairs and smashing furniture in a bid to bring them to their senses. Eventually, Curry and Joey manage to rally their lifeless peers and realize that they aren't as far from each other as they originally thought. They proceed to bust out of their holding pen, and emerge into the real world.
"Zenith" originally appeared on Denzel Curry's early 2016 album Imperial. Curry is getting ready to re-release the album commercially this Friday. It will come complete with two new songs, and is seeking to re-introduce the project to fans who may have just heard of him through his appearance on the XXL Freshman cover this year.
