Bruno Mars announced that he has a new single dropping this Friday on social media on Monday morning. Titled "24K Magic," the song will be Mars' first single since the release of his smash hit "Uptown Funk" in 2014. "Excited to announce 24k Magic, out this Friday!! You can call it my first single, but I call it the invitation to the party. #24KMagic 💥💥💥🍾🍾🍾" he wrote on Instagram.

That wasn't the only good news Mars had to share either. He also revealed that he completed the recording process for his third album.

Although there's no title or release date yet, fans are sure to be excited about the project. Mars hasn't released an album in almost four years, as his sophomore album Unorthodox Jukebox dropped way back in December 2012. He remained relevant with the huge success of "Uptown Funk," as well as his performances at the Super Bowl halftime shows, but fans have been eagerly awaiting a new project from him.

It's hard to know exactly what to expect from the new album, although we do know that Mars was seen in the studio with Missy Elliot back in April. "We laughed & laughed the whole night then he played me some 🔥ass songs 4 his album Whewwww😅 #INCREDIBLE! 🚀It's so inspiring to vibe with ppl who can create real music & have a creative mind! Big up to lisenny from Brooklyn ayyyye🙌🏾 see y'all soon!" Missy wrote on Instagram at the time.

Mark your calendars for the release of "24K Gold," and start gearing up for Bruno Mars' third album.
