After teasing the G-Mix during an interview on V-103 Atlanta, Usher sets off the weekend right with the official remix to his Young Thug collaboration “No Limit.”
The song features Master P (who inspired the song’s title), as well as a diverse cast of younger and older hip-hop talent such as Travi$ Scott, A$AP Ferg, 2 Chainz, and Gucci Mane. Back in July, P shared footage of him and Usher in the studio vibing out to “No Limit.” As it turns out, it motivated P to lay down a tough-talking verse, flexing his veteran status with lines like, “I’ve been bout it bout it since ‘Bout It Bout It.’”
Usher is currently working on his highly anticipated eight studio album, Flawed. He describes the process of the album so far, confirming that he’s written songs with The-Dream and Ty Dolla $ign. Although he hasn’t revealed how many songs will be on Flawed yet, he says he has done a lot of collaborations for the album.“No Limit,” along with “Crash,” are the project’s early glimpses of what he’s been working on since 2012’s Looking 4 Myself.
