Rae Sremmurd stopped by Hot 97's Ebro in the Morning on Wednesday, and while it wasn't quite as entertaining as their Breakfast Club wildness Tuesday, they still got a great interview in. Pete Rosenberg wasted no time in addressing the elephant in the room: Ebro's disparaging of the group. Although he wasn't present for their interview, Ebro previously argued with Complex employees on-air last year after Rae Sremmurd's SremmLife notched in at No. 3 on our Best Albums of the Year list. Ebro would go on to claim that the group had their raps written for them by Mike WiLL Made-It and others.

"Everybody wanna fight Ebro," joked Swae Lee when asked about the incident. "All our people, all of SremmLife wanna fight him." They actually said that most of the controversy didn't bother them, except for when Ebro claimed they didn't write their own music. "We write our own shit," said Swae. "You can check the album credits." Slim Jxmmi expressed frustration at what he said were false allegations.

"That's like us saying 'Ebro in the Morning' happened in the evening, and he don't even write his jokes, and Ebro don't even have control over how he talk to people" he cracked. Swae went on to defend the content of their lyrics as well. "We say some stuff that might seem kiddie, but then when you think about it you're like damn, lil niggas some poets."

Elsewhere in the interview, they discussed working with Gucci Mane, SremmLife 2, and more. You can check out the full interview in the video above.
