Dizzee's 5000 Volts bars—from unofficial archive cut "Creeper"—have been doing the rounds a bit lately. Plastician, in particular, has been lacing his eclectic sets with the track on an increasingly regular basis. Bringing it into 2016, Nottingham MC Snowy has teamed up with the Croydon don to space out some of the beats and add his accented flow into the mix, explaining over email: "I heard Plastician spin the Dizzee edit on Rinse FM one time and I was like, 'Rah! I NEED THAT NOW!' So I downloaded it, reworked the rework, gave it a rough bounce and sent it back to Plas. He liked what I did and sent me a new version of the beat, then, a few weeks later, we had the finished version. Shout out Dizzee, too, because he's a big inspiration." Expect this to join the growing list of future classics from the new generation of MCs.
