It's no surprise that Mariah Carey and Australian billionaire fiance James Packer live a luxurious life – but just how opulent their situation is, is still somehow surprising. In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, the singer revealed that the couple actually have "his and hers yachts". "It's important to have his and hers everything," Mariah says, as she stands around in a bejeweled bikini.
Packer's superyacht, the Arctic P, is currently sailing just off the coast of Italy, and dwarfs Carey’s measly 192-footer. Carey's luxury liner apparently only houses six staterooms, two bars, and jacuzzi, a gym and a library. The ship, called the Capri, houses Mariah and her two kids–Monroe and Moroccan–and is run by a paltry 16 crews.
At the moment, Mariah is working with Jermaine Dupri on her upcoming album, and has been making the grueling one hour boat trip to Naples to do so. Meanwhile, Packer has recently made a deal with professional screwface Robert De Niro, and will transform Caribbean island Barbuda into a luxury over-water resort – and of course, there'll be a casino.
While the couple hadn't set a date yet as of last month, Packer and Carey will become each other's third spouses at some point in the near future, with many speculating Carey's upcoming eight-part TV show Mariah’s World will cover the nuptials.
The trailer for the show dropped this month, and included clips of Mariah lying down in a corset to give her "talking head" interviews, her wedding demands for "albino elephants" that may or may not be a joke, and the strange daytime soap-style aura that surrounds her in all of the footage. If the show comes through on half of its insane promises, we'll be in for an early Christmas gift on December 5th.
